She oversees the organization’s year-round events portfolio and the annual Texas Tribune Festival, and is responsible for bringing the Tribune’s coverage and editorial vision to life through events. Before joining the Tribune in 2015, she worked in the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies at the University of Texas at Austin and for South by Southwest. A Houston native, Jessica holds a history degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is human to her pets Stevie and Prudence.
