Staples Responds to Farm Bureau Endorsement of Dewhurst

Staples campaign says Texas Farm Bureau endorsement of Dewhurst is "an example of a lobby organization opting for the status quo."

Cody McGregor, the campaign manager for Texans for Todd Staples, sent the following statement regarding the Texas Farm Bureau's endorsement of incumbent David Dewhurst:

"This is an example of a lobby organization opting for the status quo.  Thankfully, Republican primary voters are not status quo voters which was made clear in the race for the U.S. Senate when Ted Cruz defeated David Dewhurst."
