The 2014 Texas Tribune Festival's keynote track featured one-on-one conversations with Gov. Rick Perry, U.S. Sens. Ted Cruz and John Cornyn, GOP land commissioner nominee George P. Bush, Democratic gubernatorial nominee Wendy Davis, lieutenant governor candidates Dan Patrick and Leticia Van de Putte, and House Speaker Joe Straus. In addition, there were panel discussions on the polarized political landscape and the 2016 presidential campaign. Use this page to watch each of those sessions.

Can someone tell me what the point is of listening to these people? Cornyn is literally lying through his teeth for 1 hour and the interviewer makes no attempt at countering his bogus assertions.

Greg Abbott should be addressed as "Attorney General Abbott" not "General Abbott." He's an attorney, not a general, and the type of attorney he is is a general attorney.

Good discussion amongst the centrists. However, they identified the excessive influence of money as a big problem then failed to connect the dots. Let's be real: The big money got the tea party in office for the very purpose of blocking progress, blocking deal making, cutting government. The only thing that can stand up to the corporations and billionaires is government IF it will do so. They bought the media so people can't even find out where candidates stand or how they have voted. They peddled misinformation and propaganda. The Mayor of Atlanta is absolutely right, we the people have to rise up and run them out of office for Texas and the USA to go forward.
