Rebecca Quarls was the Tribune’s membership and marketing manager, overseeing membership and consumer revenue functions. Before moving to Austin, she worked for a marketing and PR agency in New Orleans where she led strategy and implementation for clients with digital objectives around political campaigns, crisis management, neighborhood relations and more. Before that, she spent two years with NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune, where she helped reporters transition to digital-first journalism, reach audience growth goals and better utilize social media and community management to enhance reporting and sourcing. Off the clock, the Lafayette, Louisiana, native seeks out carbohydrates, compelling stories and all things Cajun.
