House Speaker Joe Straus, R-San Antonio, highlights some of the Texas Legislature’s work from the 2013 session in his first TV ad of the year. In the 30-second ad, Straus highlights his work on a water infrastructure measure that voters approved last year and ending last year’s legislative work with a “record amount in the Rainy Day Fund.”
As in 2012, Straus is facing Matt Beebe in the Republican primary.
