In a new commercial running statewide on television, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst contrasts Texas with Washington on issues of economic development and border security. He's running for reelection in a primary that has drawn challenges from state Sen. Dan Patrick, R-Houston, Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson and Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples.
