On the Records: Combs Studying Open Data

Comptroller Susan Combs said today that her office is studying ways to make more raw government data available to the public, and that her office is looking to efforts in San Francisco and New York for ideas.

Combs made her comment during the second TribLive event at the Austin Club. She also answered a question from Justin Keener, a vice president at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, about transparency in local government:
