Congress is poised to take a final vote on health care reform as soon as this week. House Democrats are trying to marshal the votes needed to pass a version of the bill approved by the Senate, with a few changes. As Matt Largey reports, Central Texas House Democrats may not be among the “yes” votes.

Gov. Rick Perry said he’s activating the “first phase of the state’s spillover violence contingency plan” in the wake of increasing drug violence on the Texas-Mexico border. But the next sentence of the press release says he’s not telling anyone what the plan is, for security reasons.
