Mark J. Keough is the Senior Pastor of The Woodlands Bible Church in The Woodlands Texas. Having recently retired after 26 years in the automotive industry, he and his wife Kim chose to pursue Christian Ministry as their full time vocation. He holds Masters Degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary and Grace Theological Seminary, and holds a Bachelor's Degree from Cedarville University.
During his 26 years in business, Mark had the privilege of being a General Sales Manager, General Manager, and Dealer Principal of a number of Houston Metropolitan area Ford dealerships. Before retiring, Mark was the General Sales Manager of Northside Lexus, having been there for almost 14 years.
Mark was sworn in as the newly elected State Representative for House District 15 on January 13, 2015. House District 15 encompasses the southern portion of Montgomery County including the cities of Shenandoah, Oak Ridge North, The Woodlands Township, and Rayford Road Corridor. Currently, he serves on the House Committee on Human Services and is the Vice-Chair of the International Trade and Intergovernmental Affairs Committee.
Politically, Mark calls himself a "constitutional conservative". He is an advocate of small business, free markets, fiscal responsibility, pro-life, pro traditional marriage and family, and small government. He holds to the values of one national language (English), secure borders, and to the preservation of the American Culture based upon its historical Judeo Christian Foundation. Mark has been a lifetime member of the NRA for over 20 years, he is a second amendment advocate, and a staunch defender of citizens right to gun ownership and possession.
Mark is an avid hunter, fisherman, and sporting clay enthusiast and has hunted not only American game, but has also taken trophy plains game from the South African province of Limpopo. He is the father of four children and grandfather to three. He has 2 dogs and resides with his wife Kim in The Woodlands.
