John Jordan is the deputy director of photography, part of the team that ensures our stories are graced with arresting visuals. Based in Austin, John grew up in South America and has managed to hang on to some Spanish. A lifelong musician, John switched careers at the age of 50, working for the Austin bureau of The Dallas Morning News for four years before joining the Tribune in early 2012.
