Emily Goldstein was the copy chief at The Texas Tribune, where she worked from 2019 to 2023. She is based in Austin and previously worked at The Dallas Morning News and the Dallas Observer. Emily grew up in Plano and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri and her master’s degree from the University of North Texas. She won a 2018 Barbara Jordan Media Award for print commentary from the Texas Governor’s Committee on People with Disabilities.
