Gov. Greg Abbott’s office has threatened to cut state funding to three of Texas’ largest cities if they fail to fully cooperate with federal immigration enforcement. This is the latest in a long-running feud between the state’s biggest, bluest cities and the red state government, over a host of issues ranging from plastic bags to marijuana and bail reform.
