Watch live as statewide candidates weigh in on disability issues

Tune in as Democratic candidates for statewide office speak with Texas Tribune reporter Patrick Svitek at the Texas Disability Issues Forum.

The Texas Disability Issues Forum brings together members of the Texas disability community and candidates for statewide office. In a series of one-on-one interviews, candidates will discuss current issues affecting the estimated 3.2 million Texans with disabilities and their families.

The 2018 lineup includes: Mike Collier, Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor (10:15 a.m.); Justin Nelson, Democratic candidate for attorney general (10:45 a.m.); Lupe Valdez, Democratic candidate for governor (11:15 a.m.); and U.S. Rep. Beto O'Rourke, D-El Paso, Democratic candidate for U.S. senator (12 p.m.). Their Republican counterparts were invited but declined to attend.

Texas Tribune political reporter Patrick Svitek will conduct the interviews.
