A new study says that while polluted water is toxic for some fish, others are adapting to high levels of industrial pollutants that would normally have been lethal.

A new study says that while polluted water is toxic for some fish, others are adapting to high levels of industrial pollutants that would normally have been lethal. The study, published in the journal Science, found that Atlantic killifish have evolved in their resistance to the toxic environment of polluted East Coast estuaries, though other species are not likely to be able to evolve as quickly.
