Syracuse Schools Look to Meet Translation Needs

Syracuse City School District is finding creative ways to meet the needs of its dramatically expanded English language learner population.

While federal funding is threatened should districts fail to provide adequate interpretation services to their students who do not speak English, many education administrators face an insurmountable demand in the face of crippled budgets.
