Researchers have been unable to show a connection between sleep and academic achievement — until now. A team of psychologists and sleep specialists have shown that an elementary education program designed to teach students and their families the value of a good night’s sleep measurably improved grades in math and English. The results showed a 2 percent increase in report card grades after just 20 additional minutes of average sleep per night. (The Huffington Post
