Jacob Sanchez is a newsletters fellow for The Texas Tribune and a senior at St. Edward’s University where he studies political science and journalism. Previously, Sanchez was an editorial intern at The Texas Observer, and an intern for The Quay County Sun and Clovis News Journal. Sanchez is the print editor-in-chief at Hilltop Views, the student newspaper at St. Edward’s. Sanchez is from the small West Texas town of Fort Stockton.
