Study Compares Water Strategies in Four Western States
A new study compared the water management of four Western states that have faced drought shows that each state has used "conjunctive management," meaning the coordinated use of surface water and groundwater, in different ways and different levels of success. Texas, according to the authors of this study, has been slower than the other studied states in adopting conjunctive management strategies. (Texas Water Journal)
