Calling it one of the largest charity fraud cases ever, Federal Trade Commission officials and regulators from all 50 states have accused leaders of prominent cancer charities of running “sham’’ organizations.

Calling it one of the largest charity fraud cases ever, Federal Trade Commission officials and regulators from all 50 states have accused leaders of prominent cancer charities of running “sham’’ organizations that misused millions of dollars intended to benefit patients.
