As a measles outbreak spread from California to at least 18 jurisdictions across the country, the role of vaccinations was a hot topic in politics and medicine, prompting doctors to weigh in on best practices. In Dallas, Jeffrey Kahn, a pediatric infectious diseases specialist, offered advice to parents. Meanwhile, U.S. Rep. Michael Burgess, R-Lewisville, who is an obstetrician, warned against the dangers of ignoring public health threats such as measles. (Fox4 News)
