Gov. Rick Perry offered his only endorsement of a candidate in a statewide race in this video, endorsing former state representative Sid Miller of Stephenville for agriculture commissioner. 

In the first half, Perry touts his own service in the post for two terms, as well as the success he has had leading Texas through an economic boom as governor. It takes him a full minute to mention Miller, who he calls a "proven conservative" and "the real deal."
