Paxton Releases Ad Targeting "Lobbyist Dan Branch"
The campaign for attorney general candidate Ken Paxton released a new ad on Wednesday going after his primary opponent, Dan Branch, for being a "registered union lobbyist" and a "liberal Republican."
The ad makes its case against Branch, a state representative from Dallas, by highlighting some of his votes as a House member.
Paxton, a state senator from McKinney, finished ahead of Branch in the March primary. They will face each other in the May 27 runoff. Early voting starts Monday.
