Study Warns Policymakers May Be Underestimating Impact of Climate Change

An international research project, which set out to assess the global impact of climate change, indicates that policymakers may be underestimating the risks of water scarcity, diminishing crop yields, disease, floods and other problems that are interconnected.

The Guardian reports that an international research project, which set out to assess the global impact of climate change, indicates that policymakers may be underestimating the risks of water scarcity, diminishing crop yields, disease, floods and other problems. The results, published by the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, point out that insufficient attention has been paid to the interconnection of different climate risks.
