Video: Dewhurst Ad Touts Abortion Bill's Passage

Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst released a re-election campaign video Tuesday emphasizing his faith and his work on the recently passed legislation increasing abortion restrictions.

Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst released a re-election campaign video Tuesday touting his faith and his work on the recently passed legislation increasing abortion restrictions. The video, titled "Dewhurst: Defender of the Pre-Born," shows footage of Dewhurst speaking from the dais on Friday night when the Senate approved House Bill 2, which bans abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy and requires that the procedure be performed in a facility that meets the standards of an ambulatory surgical center.
