But she's also got two feisty opponents — one of them with a campaign run by Obama's 2008 field director, the other a member of the Texas House. What are their chances of unseating the longtime incumbent?

Then we look at the legacy of Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst. If he wins his bid to replace U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, he will leave a job he has held for nine years.
