Windmilling — the art of fixing old water windmills — is difficult and dangerous work. But the men who still practice that age-old art in the Panhandle wouldn't trade their job for any other. Meanwhile, Aermotor Windmill, one of the most storied names in the manufacturing business, is still churning out machines in a factory in San Angelo — though it faces increasing competition from solar pumps.
