Ads Infinitum: Bill Flores' "Loyalty"

The latest ad from the Bill Flores campaign links difficult economic times to U.S. Rep. Chet Edwards' support of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The spot echoes the theme of National Republican Congressional Committee and American Future Fund buys in the region, which also hammer Edwards over his connection to Democratic House leadership. It will broadcast in Waco and Bryan-College Station.

Flores: “I’m Bill Flores and I approve this message.”
Announcer: “Unemployment is up. Home values are down. Texas foreclosures up 27 percent just this year.
And what’s our congressman doing?
Chet Edwards now votes with Nancy Pelosi 96 percent of the time.
In Texas, we’re hurting. And they just waste more and borrow more in Washington. They’re making it worse.
Chet Edwards’ loyalty to Nancy Pelosi is too expensive for our families.”
