The latest ad from the Bill White campaign attacks the governor's well-placed friends. It references an upcoming fundraiser in Austin, where "29 of the 30" hosts are registered lobbyists. This isn't the first time White has rebuked Perry for his ties to special interests — a recent PolitiFact post highlighted White's claim that "most of Perry's chiefs-of-staff have been lobbyists." (That's true, according to the fact-checking group.) The spot will run on TV in select markets across the state.
