2010: EPT Endorses Gonzalez over Chavez in HD-76

The El Paso Times endorsed challenger Naomi Gonzalez today in her bid to unseat HD-76 incumbent Norma Chavez in the March 2 Democratic primary.

The El Paso Times endorsed Naomi Gonzalez today in its print editions. Gonzalez is challenging state Rep. Norma Chavez in the Democratic primary race for House District 76 in El Paso. Several sources confirmed the endorsement was in the print edition of the paper, but not on the Web site. The endorsement is perhaps not a huge surprise from an editorial board that in 2009 called Chavez's behavior during the legislative session embarrassing.
