2010: Stalking Steve Ogden

Rep. Dan Gattis says state Sen. Steve Ogden is running for reelection after all. But Ogden has maintained radio silence, not commenting (except through staff, who are happy to tell reporters that there's no comment available). More than 24 hours after Gattis dropped out of the race to replace Ogden in the Senate — saying he was reassured by Ogden's willingness to reconsider and run for two more years in that body — there's no word from the incumbent. And as of early Tuesday morning, Ogden's campaign website still had his withdrawal announcement (see the photo to the right) posted on the home page.
