Rep. Brian McCall, R-Plano, is endorsing State Board of Education wannabe Thomas Ratliff, an important move because Collin County is a key part of that race’s geography. Ratliff is challenging Don McLeroy in the GOP primary.
Ratliff’s also boasting of support from other’s in Collin County. “Cara Mendelsohn, Cindy Rose, Danny Kin, Dinah Miller, Libby Goldman, Dr. Lara Ashmore, Ph.D., Carol Cooper Korenman, Angela Miner, Michele Carey-Dave’, Susie Learmont, Kelly Waterman, KT Handley, Jamie Hanna, and Erica Johnson are all current or former leaders of their local PTAs,” he says in a press release. Dr. Jenny Preston, former superintendent of Allen ISD (also in Collin County), is also on the list.
