Hu Tube: 3-2-1...
In the spirit of multi-platform journalism, the posts here at Hu Tube will be highly visual. If I don't have a new video for ya each day, I'll throw up photos and do some live photoblogging during the election cycle and legislative sessions. Stay tuned.
And here we go.
We've talked a lot about how the various journalism sequences have converged or are converging; there are fewer "print reporters" and "broadcast reporters", instead, we're all multi-platform reporters. The Texas Tribune bosses understand that well, and that's why we're creating this space to explore what else is out there in multimedia journalism, and what we're up to, too.

Quality journalism doesn't come free
Perhaps it goes without saying — but producing quality journalism isn't cheap. At a time when newsroom resources and revenue across the country are declining, The Texas Tribune remains committed to sustaining our mission: creating a more engaged and informed Texas with every story we cover, every event we convene and every newsletter we send. As a nonprofit newsroom, we rely on members to help keep our stories free and our events open to the public. Do you value our journalism? Show us with your support.Yes, I'll donate today
