Correction, June 11, 2025 7:02 pm: A previous version of this article incorrectly reported that the shooting of invasive sheep was allowed for sport. It’s for land management. The article also misstated that aoudad sheep can cross breed. Also, Limpia Crossing, where Jason Sabo is a part-time resident, was misidentified.
