Clarification, Jan. 13, 2021 6:59 pm: This article has been adjusted to clarify that while Kyle Hayungs spoke at the public meeting about certain arrangements between his company, The University of Houston, and TORCH, he, through his attorney following publication, stated that he did not claim or intend to claim that the arrangements involved formal contracts. The article has also been updated to include comment following publication from Hayungs' attorney that he did not intend to claim a partnership with health organizations on Facebook.
