Clarissa Gonzalez is the festival director at the Texas Tribune. Based in Austin, she brings more than a decade of large-scale event leadership to the role. Before joining the Tribune, she served as senior conference and events manager at Freeman and director of events at Rooster Teeth Productions. Clarissa specializes in cross-functional collaboration, budget oversight, and post-event analysis — with experience managing global productions from concept through closeout. She holds a BA in business management from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
