Jessica Weaver
Jessica Weaver worked on events from 2015 to 2021, rising from events manager to creative director for live events. She oversaw the organization’s year-round events portfolio and coordinated the annual Texas Tribune Festival, and was responsible for bringing the Tribune’s coverage and editorial vision to life through events. Before joining the Tribune, she worked in the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies at the University of Texas at Austin and for South by Southwest. A Houston native, Jessica holds a history degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is human to her pets Stevie and Prudence.
