In her latest ad, state Rep. Diana Maldonado, D-Round Rock, fires back at Republican challenger Larry Gonzales after he accused her of supporting higher property taxes.

“We pay higher property taxes in Williamson County because Republicans at the state level have shorted our schools for years,” she argues. “I call that the lack-of-leadership tax.”
