Climate change may contribute to the spread of insect-borne disease, such as the West Nile virus that besieged Dallas. Cities across the U.S. have already seen many instances of insect-borne disease, and U.S. officials, health officials and scientists are fairly well equipped to respond. (The Washington Post)
