For a Texan who wants to build bridges in Congress, U.S. Rep. Tony Gonzales has burned quite a few

The two-term Republican, criticized by his own party for breaking with the GOP on key votes, is not inclined to change his ways.

A “workhorse,” not a show horse

Not in Washington to make friends

“I’m going to push back”

The Army contracted energy efficiency consulting company Johnson Controls for the installation of a $16 million solar energy system. With the improvements Ft. Bliss, which has about 30,000 soldiers and 1.1 million acres, is expected to save $39 million in energy costs over the next 24 years.
