Asylum officers ask federal court to end "remain in Mexico" policy, saying it threatens migrants' lives

Roughly 12,000 migrants have been sent to Mexico while their asylum claims are pending. U.S. asylum officers say the policy is "fundamentally contrary to the moral fabric" in the country.
