Democratic attorney Victoria Neave defeated Republican incumbent state Rep. Kenneth Sheets by less than 900 votes Tuesday to win eastern Dallas County's House District 107.

Victoria Neave's victory over state Rep. Kenneth Sheets, R-Mesquite, in the state's most expensive House race was a rare bright spot for Texas Democrats Tuesday night.
