The hourlong discussion, which took place in Richardson and was moderated by the Tribune's Edgar Walters, features contributions from four public health experts:

  • House Public Health Committee Chairwoman Myra Crownover
  • Christopher Frei of the University of Texas at Austin's College of Pharmacy and gubernatorial appointee to the Texas Task Force on Infectious Disease Preparedness and Response
  • Dr. Binh-Minh "Jade" Le, assistant professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
  • Zachary S. Thompson, director of Dallas County Health and Human Services
