Poll: California voters support Common Core standards
A new poll commissioned by Children Now, an Oakland-based nonprofit advocacy, found that more than three of five registered California voters support Common Core standards. Unlike in other states, parent opposition to the Common Core in California has been limited. Less than 1 percent of California parents last spring opted their students out of the tests aligned with the controversial standard. (Ed Source)
