Groups Laud Senate Passage of Water Bill
A coalition of water-related organizations has lauded the U.S. Senate for passing the Water Resources Development Act, which authorizes investment by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the nation's water infrastructure. The bill is aimed at helping communities reduce the risk of lead contamination in water supplies, boosting rural drinking water systems, as well as providing a financing program for water infrastructure projects.
