WASHINGTON — Donald Trump and two of his children will make separate fundraising swings throughout Texas in the coming weeks.

Texas proved in August to be a lucrative stop for the GOP presidential nominee, and the family is returning to the well.

Based on several invitations obtained by The Texas Tribune, Trump and his two oldest children — Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump — will raise money in Texas to fuel the final push for his presidential campaign.

  • The elder Donald Trump will headline an event in Houston on Saturday, Sept. 17, to benefit his presidential campaign. Requested donations range from $2,700 per individual to $250,000 per couple.
  • Donald Trump Jr. is set to headline a fundraiser in Midland on Sept. 12, where requested donations range from $1,000 to $25,000, and one in Longview on Sept. 13, where requested donations range from $1,000 to $100,000. He also has a fundraiser in San Antonio that day, with donations in the $1,000 to $25,000 range.
  • Ivanka Trump will headline a Dallas luncheon fundraiser on Sept. 21, with requested donations ranging from $2,700 to $100,000.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus and Ray Washburne, a prominent Dallas GOP bundler, are listed on all three invitations as hosts.

The nominee previously raised money in the state in a late-August swing. He brought in more than $2 million, according to two sources close to the Trump campaign.

But it was not without drama: Trump praised former Texas Gov. Rick Perry as a would-be primary challenger to U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz in 2018. Perry subsequently shot down the notion, citing an interest in executive-style roles. Perry will also be appearing on Dancing with the Stars this fall.
