New High Resolution Maps of Alaska Released
Newly released digital maps of Alaska, which reveal its topography more sharply than ever before, are helping scientists understand the impact of climate change. On tap are maps of the entire Arctic, set to be released in 2017 by the U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Science Foundation. (eos.org)
