The Texas Leadership Roundtable on Water is hosting a panel discussion with Texas water experts on Sept. 8 at the Capitol.

What: The Texas Leadership Roundtable on Water is hosting a panel discussion with Texas water experts, with additional briefings to take place the second Thursday of each month, leading up to the start of the 2017 Texas legislative session.

Who: The Texas Leadership Roundtable on Water, founded by the Wye River Group before the 83rd Texas Legislative session, is designed to provide policy leadership and to develop recommendations that support the state meeting its water challenges. Presenters include Erika Mancha, Texas Water Development Board; Greg Flores, Innové Utility; Mike Turco, Harris-Galveston Subsidence District; Tim Chinn, AECOM; and James Dwyer, aquifer storage and recovery expert.

When: Sept. 8, 2:30-4 p.m.
