In preparation for submitting its state-specific accountability plan to the U.S. Department of Education for approval, Arkansas education leaders are petitioning the public to play a critical role in the process of deciding how best to serve its students. Ten community listening forums will be hosted in and live-streamed from cities across the state between Sept. 13 and Oct. 25. The State Board of Education is also encouraging feedback via online surveys, emails, and comments. (Arkansas News)
