New Stats Show Enrollments Up, Cost of School Supplies Down
Enrollment in public schools is up slightly from last year, and charter schools continue to grow in popularity, according to new figures on the state of education in the U.S. Also, private schools will see a drop in clientele. And while the cost of school supplies is down, estimates show those savings may be offset by increases in the cost of after-school activities. (The Washington Post)
