HRO: Using Aquifer Storage and Recovery to Meet Water Needs
A new report from the House Research Organization, the research arm of the Texas House, takes a close look at aquifer storage and recovery as a way to meet the state's future water needs. This method of using injection wells to store drinking water underground has advantages over traditional reservoirs because it is more resistant to evaporation and doesn't require obtaining land.
